Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Usaku Bantai, widely known as Bluethopia, has shared how she came up with the nickname that many viewers now associate with her.
She spoke about the origin of the name during her diary session with Big Brother on Tuesday.
The reality TV star said the idea came from Disney’s animated movie Zootopia, a film she enjoyed watching.
After becoming attached to the title, she decided to make it personal by adding her favourite colour, blue, to the name.

According to her, the combination created the nickname Bluethopia, which has remained with her ever since.
She said she was pleased with the choice because it became a unique identity that people easily recognise.

“I really loved the animation, then I decided to use it to merge my favourite colour, which is blue. Since then, the name has stuck with me and I am so happy with it,” she said.
Bluethopia explained that what started as a simple mix of her favourite animated movie and her favourite colour gradually turned into the name many people now call her.
She added that the nickname has stayed with her over the years and has become part of her personal brand, making it the identity she proudly carries both inside and outside the Big Brother Naija house.
